SNOW KITING

Lago di Resia and Lago di San Valentino alla Muta are the kite surfing Mecca in South Tyrol, even in winter. Pulled by a stunt kite and strapped to your skis or snowboard, you’ll enjoy gliding across glistening snowy surfaces. The starting point is the Kitespot in Curon, near the Hotel Theiner on Lago di Resia.

SKI TOURS

The snow-covered massifs surrounding Curon and Lago di Resia are just perfect for ski tours in Upper Val Venosta. Ski tours in Val di Roia and in Vallelunga are some of the most beautiful in South Tyrol. What ski tourers love about coming to Upper Val Venosta are our crisp three-thousanders, guaranteed snow and beautiful slopes, along with the peace, quiet and tranquillity you can experience here. In other regions, you can hardly move for other climbers, hikers and other visitors – here, you can have the mountain and our beautiful countryside almost to yourself.

SLEDDING AND NIGHT SLEDDING

Sledding by day and by night – on the sledding runs in Resia and San Valentino in Val Venosta, you can go sledding at (almost) any time of day. There are also sledding runs in the ski resorts in Belpiano and San Benedettto.

ICE SKATING ON LAGO DI RESIA

When Lago di Resia freezes over, the ice can reach 40cm thick, making it the perfect outdoor ice skating rink! This natural ice is pristinely prepared and three lanes – 2km, 4km and 8km in length – are marked out so you can skate to your heart’s content. Skate rental possible on site.

PARAGLIDING

In winter, the Passo di Resia holiday region is a true hotspot for paragliding enthusiasts. Take the lift up into the Belpiano ski resort or to the Mutta pasture and create your own winter fairy tale as you descend into the valley – simply divine!

ICEBOATING

Iceboating on Lago di Resia and Lago della Muta – from December to March, iceboating proves a popular pastime.
